I have a 115 Evinrude at WOT it starts to act as if it is running ou to gas. I have changed the Filters, Plugs, added fuel conditioner, Removed the tank, drained and cleaned it and still haveing problems. Does anyone have any ideas.
I have check for air leaks, dont seem to have any. As far as the fuel pump a local mech. told me to have someone pump the bulb went it started to do this and if it started to run than it was more than likley that. I have done that and it does not help. Do you think that maybe it might be a powerpack.
You might want to go through the fuel system, including cleaning the high speed orifices and the anti-siphon valve really well, before you start looking for an ignition problem at that level.
The red knob is on the primer solenoid which takes the place of a choke when you push your ignition key in. When the battery dies, you can manually prime the engine by turning the knob to a right angle from the cylindrical solenoid and squeezing the bulb on your fuel line.
