I just repowered my ranger to a 115 johnson. Upgrade from 70hp and the 115 maxs out my boat HP

Here are my numbers

42.5mph GPS
5050-5100 rpm WOT
WOT range 4500-5500rpm
alum 14" dia 19" pitch
with 2:1 ratio LU it puts me at 9.3% slip

Slip seems really good considering its an AL prop.
Holeshot is OK, I hoped for better but still better than my 70.
Prop never vented in the corners, and handled pretty good. Not the best handling prop I have had but above average.

I want to fine tune the set up further, what SS prop would you put on knowing my numbers. Think I should raise the motor a hole?

I would raise the motor till venting bothers, just be sure it pumps water. You probably know to trim down for corners.
Be sure the throttle opens all the way. Depending in your results raising the motor consider a 17" ss prop.
Or a 17" Solas al prop.Either prop may allow more height though it appears your present prop is doing a good job.
