I have a 99 johnson 115 that is on a 99 triton bass boat. I just bought this and it has a miss at idle and is hard to start but once it warms up it will start fine. I went out today to try to test it out and once i got it started i put it in gear and it would die, i could ease it into gear and it would be okay but the second i gave it any more fuel it would shut down. I was told it was not run in a while, all i have done is changed the plugs, put new gas in it and put c-foam in the tank. Any thing you suggest that may be an easy fix before i take it somewhere and spend more, thanks!

Probably same prob most of us have had at one point or another....dirty carb. If you're looking for an 'easy fix', good luck with that.

You can clean your carbs with some time and patience...it's not rocket science. Do yourself a HUGE favor and order a SERVICE manual for your motor.
