115etl76 is a 1976 115HP Johnson with Tilt and Trim

how do i identify difference between 115 & 150 johnson, seller says its a 150 with 115 cover ?

A 150 would be a V6 - the cover would have to be five or six inches or so taller than a V4.


In 1976 the largest V4 model was 135HP; then 1977 and on 140HP. There was no four cylinder 150HP Outboard.
