I have a 1995 Johnson V4 FAst strike 115 hp motor on my boat. I had my motor overhauled a few months back. The first time I took it out the motor ran fine for a while, then all of a sudden the motor lost power. Before I could plane out in about 3 seconds but now it takes about 6 or 7 seconds to reach plane. The motor seems to be running smooth and I've not heard it miss any. I don't understand what could be going on here. Could it be a blown ring or something electronic? Woulnd't it be misfiring if it were something electronic? Please help!
