Well I just got the boat back today after I had the VRO system remove and they put on a new fuel pump. I had them clean the cards and synchronize them. The boat runs fine at idel and starts right up. But at WOT she will die unless I back right off the throttle. It wasn't doing this before I had it serviced. The complete VRO is removed and they put on a different fuel pump. When she dies it will start right up. This boat has a fixed gas tank. I know mix my own gas. Any ideas would be awsome. Thanx

I would suggest that you print this out and take it and your motor to whoever worked on it. Sounds like crud in the carbs even though they said they cleaned them. Did they put rebuild kits in?

What kind of fuel pump, if OMC what part number, just any pump may not supply enough fuel. I understand this not your problem, but does any of the shops check there work anymore, I see a lot of post, boat out of shop, still dont run.

Don't forget that this is an enclosed gasoline boat engine and has to abide by the Federal Regulations concerning fuel systems, etc.

All fuel components have to survive a 2.5 minute fire and not leak. That is why the original VRO pump was inside a metal can, and the hoses were fireproof Type A. If someone put an exposed plastic outboard pump on your boat, you are illegal, and could be held liable should a fire start and someone get injured or killed.
