115 Johnson Non VRO Fuel pump

Ok, I have reached the conclusion that my fuel pump is causing my problems. The original VRO pump was removed and replaced with a conventional pump. What should I be running on this motor to replace VRO?? All I can find in the parts catalog is the 18-7352 and it says its for up to 55 HP?? I know a lot of people are running these motors with the VRO pumps removed. What pumps are you folks using??

does not have a sierra replacement these are the part #s. they ran the old 4 cylinders.

I found the pump you were recommending, but in the diagrams it shows 2 hose connections on the bottom of the motor. The pump that is on the motor now has only 1. So where does the other hose connect to?

That pump was for motors that had a hose for connection for the pulse as the V4 motors did up until 1977.

See pump #438556. It was used on some 115HP motors into the late 1990's
