Thanks Laddies, I dont wanna sound like a dummy here but...I see the cotter pin and such but, when i lower my motor down, when it engages the tilt pin it swivels the "dogs" and pulls up on what im going to refer to as the "saftey neutral rod" that extends down into the lower end...whats gonna pull up on the "saftey neutral" mechanism in the gear case to allow the motor to be put into gear and what do i do with this rod just protruding up out of the lower end???
