Im sorry to bother you guys . I just ran my motor on the muffs after rebuilding water pump , and theres water discharging through the prop . Its been a few years since I had it on the muffs, and I can't remember if this was normal or not. The thermostats were replaced a couple years ago . I was also wondering if on muffs water should come out the two small holes on top of midsection, again I don't recall. Im sure the water pump is working ok, because the heads stayed cool , though after cutting the motor off they were kind of warm. Im just hoping the inner exhaust gasket stayed in place when bolting lower on . The guy who helped me and was watching while I raised it in place said it was fine.

Thanks,
Basser

You should have a small, steady stream of water from the tell tale.

You should have a small but steady spit of water from the exhaust relief once the engine warms up; this should increase in volume and velocity as the speed increases.

Most of the exhaust and returned water should exit through the propeller.

Some of the exhaust water will exit from the ports in the bottom of the midsection.

Thanks again ezeke. I didn't run it too long and there was very little coming out , what I guess are exhaust relief holes ,on top of midsection. I have my tell tale ran to a pressure guage , but it doesn't register much at low rpm's ,it never has, since I put it on, but on the water it holds between 15-20 psi. There is water coming out the little drain holes between mid section and gearbox. I sure appreciate your quick responses, they alleviate my concerns.
Thanks again.
