i am from hong kong, so my english is poor, i hope you will understand what i mean.
i have a mercury 115hp efi 4stroke outboard. and now i have a problem.
it can run very well after 1000rpm, and the sound is good.but it will stall in idle and with rough idle.
but it will not stall when i take off the cover . it means that there is not enuogh fresh air when covering it.
and the spark plugs are black in colour. and i have try many menthods,e.g new computer, new oil pump, the thing which is control the air with idle speed.
