as long as the Motor passes all the usual checks, then it will be fine, the V4 Fichts never had the problems that some of their bigger brothers the V6 had, as far as working on one, I guess anyone with reasonable mechanical apptitude can do routine maintenance, such as water pump and general service items, the software is available for Electronic testing and so on, but this relies on some knowledge on what to do about the data retrieved of course.
