Just overhauled the fuel on pump on a 2stroke 115hp 4cyl merc outboard with a new gasket kit but the problem is that the instructions say to put the gasket to both sides of the centre part of the pump then the diaphragm then the outer body parts.
when when i pulled the pump apart it was diaphragm both sides of centre part of pump then gasket then outer body parts.
So is their a right way to place the the gaskets and diaphragms.
