Re: 120 force steering problem

The fitting isn't taking grease. This can be removed, and a new one inserted. But the problem may be deeper than that. It may require WD40 or Liquid Wrench to penetrate into the area. Once it takes the penetrant,it should take the grease.

Re: 120 force steering problem

If it's anything like my '88 125 force I had the same problem. You said "nipple" one. Mine also had one , with a depression on the upper third of the steering pin housing. No grease gets to the top. If you also have that missing nipple drill a 13/64 hole in the center and put in some liquid wrench, then put in a threaded nipple. I found a 6 mm at the auto parts store. Also try lightly heating housing with a propane torch to loosen old hardend grease. Replace the original nipple with a threaded one that fits. Original was probably a tap in type. Good luck.
