Dirt Common! ALL four cylinder Force engines have had dual carbs since way back in the 1960s when they were Chrysler engines.
ALL three cylinder engines 75, 85, and 90HP had 3 carbs. Only different one was the Force 3 cyl 70. Chrysler made a 3 cyl 70 that also had 3 carbs. AND they made a beautiful little 2 cylinder 55,60,65 HP that had two carbs.
Other brands are similar--with outboard engines, multiple carbs are the norm, not the exception.
