thought it was in fuel, tried fresh mix auxillary tank, starts ,stalls, pull plugs dry fires and stalls,how can I tell if it is exhaust manifold?new head gasket .or is it getting into crank case?any help would be appreciated,thanks
If the spark plugs are clean on 3&4 and the spark plugs 1&2 are dirty it could be a blown head gasket, the quickest way to tell is to swap the 2 dirty plugs with the 2 clean plugs in 3&4 if that's the case and run the engine and see if the dirty plugs come out clean after a few minutes with signs of water. Water will steam clean the spark plugs in short order. Don't forget to put the boat in the water or on muffs if you try this! max!
