My shift rod rotated 90 degrees when I removed the lower unit. I put a scribe mark on it, measured it, but it would be helpful to know which way to turn it now. Does the bent part of it go towards the back of the motor or the front?<br />I tried looking with a flashlight, and can't see anything in the manual about this. Thanks for the help earlier.
