Hi guys, and great site (huge too). Back into boating after 4 years off, just bought a '96 Tracker 18' Jet, great condition, motor in a box. Have already ordered .040" Wiseco's and one sleeve, Boyesen reeds, crank's at Marine Crankshafts Inc as we "speak", cages, base and block already ported. Has one late rod with bottom slot and three rods w/ single hole, all top guided. Yes, the slotted rod is 10gms lighter at the base. Here come the questions :)...
1) Can the other three rods be machine slotted before I balance to match, as they look and mic. identical at the cap (except for the lot)?
2) Will any 3.375 ID sleeve work if the holes can be bridgeported close to exact?
3) Any ideas on tuner work?
4) Any ideas on a 5500+ rev box?
5) Any other ideas or somethin I need to check or am missing?
Thanx tons guys, and wish me luck in Cozumel next week on the Marlin...T

Handled the rest. New OEM rods and sleeve. Anyone know how much to mill off the head for 91 octane, or the desired CC's of the chambers?

Welcome to iboats.

We're not ignoring you.
Just that most of us have never done what you are asking about.
And even fewer have done it to a Force.

Very little traffic here on the Force forum.
You might want to pop the questions over on the Merc forum for more exposure.

Re: 120XR performance build

Thanx bud. I kinda gathered that after running searches for three or four hours. I'll try the Merc thing tonight if I can't get anything over the phone today. Still the best site I've seen for boat stuff tho...T
