130hp Looper - Dropping RPM's

Hello all. 96 Looper, runs great otherwise. Have noticed a drop in RPM's. When running around 5000, dropping about 200 rpm's, then comes back. WOT is usually around 6100, but now only around 5800.

thought fuel filter, changed it. Fuel pump replaced last year. Lower unit needs a new impeller. Any ideas?

A timing light will show if its got a coil dropping out when it does it.
If all coils are good then look at fuel delivery, when were carbs rebuilt last?
got a water seperator, its a must.
Draw some fuel and check it for water.

Thanks for the reply. Problem is that it only does it at high rpm's (idles fine and runs great slower) so I don't know how I would be able to do that.

I do have a separator will check for water, and the carbs have not been rebuilt since i have owned it (3 years).
