Hi , I have a 1997 mercury 135 ob with quicksilver controls mounted in a center console. When I got on the water today warmed her up and tried to shift into reverse it felt like something popped in my throttle and now its throttle only when you shift into rev or forw no engage of the prop. The button on the handle to switch to TO has been gone since Ive had the boat. Did I strip something in the throttle or is it worse than that. All help is greatly appreciated. It would seem to me that its the gears that lock from TO to drive have been stripped. Im hoping I can rebuild the throttle.Thanks
