14 ft Jon

I am looking into buying a 14 ft Sea Nymph Jon boat, it does not have a motor and I would like to rig it up with a small outboard and stick steering. Is this doable? Any advice or comments on this boat would be greatly appres. I will be deciding be early next week.

Welcome aboard SD.

Sure, you can put a tiller steer on that john, most are set up that way.

It depends on your intended use as to what size you should get. If you just want to tool around and fish, you could get away with a 9.9 horse. A 15 would give you more to work with though.
