I want to try a conventional fuel pump on this motor.

I would appreciate any technical advice that anyone would want to share, and also recommendations on which pump to use.

Thanks

Some of the commercial units use the old style pump but you need two. You'll have to drill the front half for the other pulse line. Basically you'll end up with a V6 crossflow set up.

Is there a reason you want to go to that style pump?

Thanks for responding.

I've been running on mix for a few years through the VRO2 pump. The diaphragms are now failing, but otherwise it has been fine.

I thought that it might be possible to fit a single fuel pump using the existing pulse hose, but if not, I will just try to rebuild the VRO pump. Any suggestions on that job would be welcome.

They do make a fuel only pump that looks like the injection pump without the oil side. A 438402 I believe.
