Hello folks, Long time no seen...
I have changed my water-pump today and it really begins here: Upon disassembly of the rig I had to use more power to take it apart than I think is normal. Anyhow it came loose and I did the change. When I now tries to assembly the rig to the rest of the motor the alignment of the (I don't know the right term) Shift rod that goes down the rig to the gear box, don't seem to align with the little rubber protected hole leading to the little "thing" that it is supposed to be tighten up in. Do you need a special tool to steer the shift-rod or how do you do. I have seen all kinds of instruction videos of how it's supposed to be done but that ain't going to happen on my motor. The error between the rod and that little hole is something like 5mm and it feels like the rod is already at the edge of the pipe it's going through and I don't seems to be able to bend it in position either. I don't think I'm the first one to experience this and I believe you know what I mean if you have done this before... Please all kind of tip is most appreciated since I've tried all day long today and is now totally out of ideas.
