Im looking at a boat that comes with a 1993 140hp V4 Evinrude outboard, this has been totally rebuilt by a authorised dealer and has so far done 120 hours in saltwater. Am i taking a big risk in buying such an engine, as i know nothing about outboard engines. i have looked under the engine housing and the engine itself is emaculate.<br /><br />How much should i be paying for this engine, the owner wants £3000 for it (engine alone).<br />Thank you.
