oldfashion, boats just had a hole drilled in the bottom of the boat. it would drain some when running but kept the fish alive. if using a live bait, get an aerator bait bucket. don't complicate life.

I don't know if u know how hard it is to keep greenbacks and whitebait alive but it won't happen in a bucket i need constant fresh water flow because all the ammonia they give off and there is no better bait than that in fl.pinfish are decent and hardy but i will always get more results with whitebait.

I have a 2000 Lowes roughneck and the livewell drain is in the bottom of the boat, a brass thru hull fitting connected to the livewell drain. Thats from the factory works good
