148,148,147,50psi on 120 hp. should i boat today?

i did a compression test and the results are in the title! a marina sold me the engine used and put it on 2.5 weeks ago and said it had 125 to 127 across all four. should i try to use it today for two hours or so before bringing it to them??? its a great labor day and the motor hasnt even used the whole tank of gas from when we got it and im dieing to go out!

seafoam it. let it warm up. take compression check again.

If there is a problem with that cylinder you can create more damage running it and therefore making the repair that much more expensive. I would find the problem right away before trying to use it any more.

50 psi is super low. You may have a hole in your piston or if your lucky just a blow head gasket. I wouldn't run the motor without getting it checked out.

i would give marina benefit of doubt and double check compression with warm, wet cylinders. if still 50 then why fix it if you can get your money back?
