15 hp evinrude gas/oil mix

Well, I've gotten a lot of good advice already on my 1955 Evinrude 15HP. I ordered a new gas tank & fuel line, and when it gets here I'll try to fire it up. What gas / oil mix should I start with? <br />Amanda

24:1 for any JohnnyRude built before 1964, Amanda.<br /><br />That's a quart of TC-W3 outboard oil to a 6 gallon tank of 87 octane regular.<br /><br />Good luck.

i've got a 55 15hp on a 15' lonestar commander. will run about 25mph with 500lb load. this is my favorite of my 4 boats. i have a 10' hose on my gas tank so i can move it forward.
