I have an old evinrude serial# 15012-22463 and was wondering if anyone knows the year and model of this motor. I been told its a 15 hp . any help is appreciated.

I have a 54-55 15hp I will pull apart and ebay over the winter if you need parts. 99% good motor, but I have too many running motors now, and the parting out gets me more $ for buying more old motors...ya damn right its an addiction...and a fun, learning one too.
i have a '55 15 hp rude the best investment i ever made. i paid right at $200 with shipping, got lucky and found it on ebay. purrs like a kitten, troll all day and never cough.
