Well guys I'm at my witts end with this motor I've posted this problem before and have fixed everything you have suggested rebuilt the fuel pump cleaned the carb put all new fuel lines got a new o-ring for the fuel connection new primer bulb it runs better but still has to be choked all the time and will run longer but will lose it's prime I did use the old clip type hose clamps but everything seems to be tight is there any test I can do to find out wher I am loosing prime could I have a bad tank? I did check the screen in the tank and it was nice and clean what am I missing??Thanks for all the help so far

Have you done a compression test on the engine?

Try running it with the gas cap on the gas tank loose and see if it holds its prime better. . Your primer bulb will go flat if tank is not venting. It is also possible even though the primer bulb is new it could be defective. I have read a few posts concerning this with cheap primer bulbs.
