15 HP Force Special tools ?

Friend has a Force 15 HP...won't plane, spuradic tell tale, and water in lower unit. I suspect it to be the thrust bearing and prop seal, water pump impeller. Is there a special tool required to get the thrust bearing nut out (like on the mercs) ? And where are parts available from?

Not sure on the special tools. It may depend on if it is a Chrysler Force, a US Marine Force, or a newer Mercury Force.<br /><br />You can get parts for Force motors from a Merc dealer, or from <br />mercruiserparts.com , or Mercurypartsexpress.com
