From experience ebay motors is going to be your best bet my friend.You will find your carb kit, and you water pump kits here, But i recommend that you go onto google and try to figure out exactly what year motor you have. This is very easy to do and is good to know for personal reference. But you will not need to know this to make sure you get the parts you need. All you need to know is the first three digits on your model number. for you it's 217. Most people on ebay will tell you these parts fit only model numbers with model numbers starting with 217. These numbers will also tell you the manufacturer. For instance, on my 15 hp, the model number starts with 225. This means it was made by force/mercury marine, re badged and sold by sears under the gamefisher name.The serial number is where you will find out the year your motor was made, but the model # will tell you who made it.
