15 hp Sears Gamefisher

I am having a hard time finding the spark advance for this motor. The part # is 610880. I have tried just about everything that I can think of. Any suggestions would be SO helpfull. I believe that the model # is 217586220.

are you looking for a Solid State ignition?

the spark advance is built into the flywheel using centrifugal advance weights, as you increase the engine speed the timing is advanced.

Thank you for responding,
I now have the motor and manual in my possesion and can see what you are talking about. The motor is model # 217.586353, the fly wheel has the weight, spark advance (2) withthe springs and pivot and anchor pins holding them in place. The part 610880 is called an "Advance Assy., Spark" and fits around the shaft, under the fly wheel and inside the "Magneto, Solid State". The part is missing, so , I can not tell what type of material or any other details. It apears to have teeth or pins on the upper edge to make contact with the spark advance weights. Not sure.
Any help would be greatly warranted.

THAT IS IT!!!! It is mising from the flty wheel. Not sure who took it out, but, it is missing. Thank you so much for the picture.
Any ideas where I can locate and purchase that part?
Also, I would like to send pictures of this motor. I swear to you that it has never been in the water, Everything on it is as crisp as the day it was manufactured, except the spark advance assy of course.

I got your personal message Lloyd, great deal and I'm envious as you stated your 15 had never been used once and was crisp and new but was only missing the advance assembly....keep us posted and post some pics if you can.

www.superxpower.comtecumseh is a website i just checked and found the spark advance assembly, showed they had one in stock for 28 bucks part number 610880.
