Hi, I have a 150 Black Max serial OD262377, I believe this is a 1992 model.
I was told that is has a dirty carby/blocked carby from the 2 stroke fuel. I have started it and it seems to idle ok, when you rev it I noticed that the top 4 throats wet the butterfly with fuel but the bottom 2 dont. I thought that maybe if I put my hand over the 2 throats of the bottom carby when it is running to use the vacume to pull the fuel through the carby might work but no fuel pulled through. This pulled quite a bit of fuel through the top 4 throats so I am now confused. Is this normal? do only the 4 top throats have boost pumps?

please help.

Please do not run it anymore as no fuel = no lubircation to cylinders. From what you posted about placing hand over throat and no fuel, either the supply line to carb is swollen shut internally from ethanol or the inlet needle is stuck or swollen...This will require carb to be removed and cleaned/inspected and install new gaskets, dont reuse old ones..

Can you please tell me what carby kit I need as I am not sure of the exact year of this motor?
