I will apologize in advance for my lack of knowledge. Bought an 88 bass boat with Merc 150 XR2. Boat sat for 2 years. Boat runs but will not plane and loses power. It is currently in the shop. The carbs have been rebuilt. Some help, not all. Trigger replaced, no change. Switchbox has tested bad via ohm meter. One on order now. I am currently sitting around $1k in money spent on this bill. Compression is 125-130 across all cylinders. 2 questions: Does this plan seem reasonable? How much is too much in $$ ( opinion ). HELP!!
