Hey guys, this must be my summer. JB et al the smart guys if you are out there pls give me an opinion.<br /><br />I ma the one with the Force 150 mounted on an 89 Arriva boat. R.eEcently I had the stator wires replaced and the thing ran fine(54 MPH - by the speedo anyway).<br /><br />Today, after spending the whole day detailing the boat out (and it do look good), we went over and filled the tank with 89 Octane (vice 93 that I have been running).<br /><br />We put it in the water and it started upand idled fine. Upon take off I noticed a bogging and bam it took off. It then started missing slightly at top end andthen seemedto clearout.<br /><br />Came back to dock. Went out again and it didthe same thing but not consistently. Sometimes it would take ff and move out fine - then it would bog, catch up and miss when we tried the sequence again.<br /><br />Could it be an air leak or fuel problem. The plugs look okay (lightly coated) soI am assuming it isnt electricla being it just got out of the shop few weeks back.<br /><br />Pls excuse the typos as this is my mom's system. The space bar works when it feels like it. <br /><br />Any opinions would be appreciated - especially since the boat is alread in the water.<br /><br />Deerdog
