I bought brand new 2017, merc 150 3.0l 4 stroke, 275 hrs on the motor, it will intermittently drop rpms for split second. always at 3,500 ish. drop to 3,000 go again. shutting the motor off and restarting it seems to solve the problem, some times it will run for hours with no issues. No trouble codes are being triggered. Run wot no problems, troll for hours never miss a lick. problem has only shown up at 3,500 to 3,800 rpms. WOT running 5,500 rpms. Anyone with similar problem and what was your problem would be helpful information.
