150 hp rectifier

I have a 95 150 that was left outside with the hood off for a long period of time ,upon rebuilding ive noticed the rectifier leads are faded beyond recognition.ive purchased and installed a new cdi harness but dont know if the two leads are connected correctly, can anyone help? and does it make a differance?

should be 3 leads coming off rectifier, correct? i have a 150 also, i can
check tomorrow, boat is docked. someone may help before that!!!

i believe the two yellows are interchangeable. then there is a red wire. the two yellows come from the stator, red goes to charge the battery.

The 2 yellow are interchangeable and there should be a gray wire connected to one of the yellow (either one). This is your tach lead.
