150 Johnson Fast stripe

Was working on fuel gage, and one of the little screws fell into the fuel tank. Does the motor have a screen to where the screw would never get sucked into the carborator and cylinders? It is a 1997 Fast Stripe.

Yes it has a screen. And the chances are of it getting into the fuel system are about as good as I have of winning the lottery. LOL

thanks boobie but I put my lookers on and found it caught in the wires its still good to know their is a screen.

That motor may also have a main strainer under the airbox. You might add a water seperator to filter the fuel as well. It is a pretty good idea with the lousy gasoline we have these days.

Yes chris was thinking about that we have conoco station here in Louisiana that say no ethanol but some times I wonder.
