ok ive got a 150hp mercury and its got a ss21p prop(i sorta think its been worked on) but my WOT ...with the trim up pretty far...far enough for a rooster tail was 6200(if my tach is right)... as of right now i dont remember my WOT with no trim i will get that this weekend... but ive got some cavatation while turning... im needing a spare prop so i want to get one that might even help and i could use the one i have now for a spare...(just going to get a cheap one ) every merc ive seen has a 21p ... i know you all probably need more specs ... should i get a 22p or even a 23... or just a 21p that aint been worked on... i just bought the boat....

Thanks guys any more info needed just ask... i am going to get the speeds this weekend too...

I'm pretty sure that's a 21" pitch, indicated by the "21p" at the end of the part nr.

ya... its a 21 pitch... i just cant get any performance out of it... i just put my whale fin back on and it boat only runs 47 mph...(runs 52mph at 6200rpm without it)... i cannot beleive this boat is actually this slow... im looking at getting a 22p or 23p prop just waiting on some money right now as i dont want to trade in my perfect ss 21p prop

Way too many RPM's. Need to do some checking to see if it is indeed your tach or if you truly are spinning 6200. If so, you need a pitch adjustment.
