150 Optimax water pressure

Can someone tell me the recommended water pressure for an 2002 150hp optimax saltwater....maybe from their manual.......my gauge reads 0.6psi@550rpm ,2.3psi@1000rpm, 6.5psi at 4000rpm. There is always a good stream out of the telltale. These are all under load,in gear,in the water running.

I'm having a problem with overheating, sometimes at idle, sometimes at around 2400rpm when the boat is pushing thru the water at a good clip, but not running up on plane....its a 20' trophy wa.
