had a bad stator, replaced together with the flywheel.
the spark is good, compression 80psi across the board, clean carbs;
the thing will not accelerate at all, it tops at about 1500 rpm and if i opened the throttle more it just stalls, it will rev up without load. also it seems to leak gas & oil in the water, more than normal for a 2 stroke.
left it in the driveway for a couple of weeks (had other more pressing things to do) and now i notice lots of oil flowed down the midsection (black color). what is causing this? is it possible it's related to the lack of power / no acceleration issue?
