hopefully someone can help me out, a mate has a mid 80's suzuki v6, 150hp carbed model. was running perfect last season, went well first trip out this year then all of a sudden it lost a heap of power. we took the boat out of the water and started the engine on muffs and it sounded "off", carbs were cleaned with the airline and replaced all the gaskets and it still sounded "off" checked all the plugs and it turns out that one bank of cylinders has no spark?? we have swapped coil packs from side to side and still no spark. all wiring seems to check out ok. is it some thing to do with the oil level? although no warning buzzers sounded after start up??

Sounds like you got a wiring problem. I would probably start by checking your wiring and connections.

Sounds like you need to do some checking on the electronics on your motor.
you will need a peak reading voltmeter or a DVA adapter and a regular meter and a manual for your motor to do the checking and get the proper specs.
Here is something to read just to give you an idea of things to be checked and the reason you need manual for your specific motor. I know this does not cover Suzuki, but it is just an example of the testing needed.
