Hi,<br />I have an Optimax with .06 bar at idle which I think is less than 1 PSI. I have read several posts about the popet value etc. However can someone advise what water pressure I can expect from Idle to full RPM?<br />Regards Dennis
You would need a factory manual. My 89 200 hp carbed Merc is from 2-12#. It should still be putting out a tell-tale stream.<br />The poppet would cause overheating at low RPM only if it were stuck open or ruptured.<br />I see that you have looked at the other post with the problem. Hope you guys figure it out. Keep us posted.
