15hp Gamefisher/Force cooling problems

Serial number 225587151. It will pump water for a minute but then it stops. I have pulled the impellar out and it looks good. On the water pump cover there is a hole and im not sure if its supposed to be there. Right next to where the water is supposed to come out there is a little hole. Its a clean hole so I'm not sure if its supposed to be there. Where does the water come out on the engine? The exhaust or the heat sink type thing?<br />Thanks<br />Chris

I have the same motor and the same problem. As far as I can tell that hole is suposed to be there, as it is on mine also. I took the lower unit off and hooked a water hose onto the water pipe that goes up into the motor and it looks like the water comes down back through the inside of the leg, then exits through the exhaust. Do you know what year these motors are? Also let me know if you fixed your problem. Does anyone know if these motors have thermostats.
