Think the water pump is out. The tell tale pee hole is clear (blew air thru it) but I am not getting any water.

Replacing the pump should not be hard, but I have a question about the shift linkage. Where do I disconnect it? On my 150 it is under the carbs. I can't get under the carb on this thing.

Thought I read somewhere it is down inside where you split the lower unit.

Need a little help here please!!!!! :D

Thanks, ranger

After you take the screws out that hold the gearcase to the exhaust housing, pry the two pieces apart a little and this will expose the shift rod connecter. it's between them and towards the front. Remove the top screw and you can pull the gwarcase off.

Lower unit is off and new parts are on the way. No blades left on this impeller!
