i got my new prop from iboats this week and cannot find the torque spec for the nut in my service manuel does anybody know what it should be torqued to? 1975 johnson 15 hp
I don't know the specific torque for that model but with prop nuts I always go hand tight then a quarter turn with a wrench. There is no pressure on the nut when you are driving in fwd only in reverse. I have never had a pop nut come off on me in 20 years.
