16' Sea Nymph console

hey folks, ive got a 1978 16' sea nymph / fishing machine and im looking for a new or used console. the original owner bought it new with a 40 johnson and a couple years later, put a 70 evinrude on her, which runs great even today. problem is, the steering wheel cable in the console was a little off so it just hangs down in order for it to work. plus, the wood panel has rotted from being outside so i just need to replace it.

Build a new one with plywood.

Unlikely you will find a factory replacement, but there are a number of plastic and aluminum after market replacement consoles. Yes some mods may be needed to fit your boat, but some are very nice looking !! Because it is for a boat, they wont be cheap, nothing for a boat is!! If your handy with wood working, one can be made to your own specs, heavier than plastic or aluminum but shouldn't be that much...
