162 Seaswirl Striker ?

Back again after a few years absence with a general question about this boat. Does anyone have clue about this boat? All I have been able to learn is OMC possibly made them. Powered with 50hp Johnson and it looks to me like too much boat for the engine. Clue is a large add on trim plate on engine and the owner said it came from the dealer like that.

Seaswirl is a boat maker. Most come with OMC engines, at least until recently. There is a Stripers Owners club web site dub-dub-dub SOC dot com. WhiteBear can likely answer some questions.
