16ft Ski Boat

I am looking at purchesing a 16ft Fg ski boat with a 78 115hp v4 johnson. The boat is simalar to the glastron ski boat of simalar length except no windshield. Would this be potent enough to ski and tow tubes behind easily? Also what what sppeds could be expected from this combanation? Any comments on the engine, problems and such? Those are good engines, my neighbour has one of those and they ski and tube all day long so you won't have a problem with that, speed wise, i'll say about 40 mph WOT ...

had one on an 18' would run 45 with one person 42 with 6, they love to ski. just don't over prop it. or you'll loose the hole shot you want for skiing.
