175 sportjet

I'm buying a new use boat. My question is will a 175 sportjet do the job in the river with 4 people in the boat. It's a 20 ft. Thank for your opinions.

It wont be the fastest thing on the river but it will do. Figure a 175 jet being roughly equivalent to a 115 prop motor, Mid 40's or so loaded.
