There's one listed for sale locally for C$800 with the following description:

"Was running excellent when taken off boat Do not have Controls for it."

Would you bite? I texted about controls and he dropped his price to C$700.

Let it pass as it the old 2.0L and uses a special harness and control box as it has a microswitch in it to control the reverse lock valve. Block is GEN 1 and exhaust is D shaped . A old dinosaur from the 1976-78 years....

My neighbor thought it would be a nice upgrade from his Force 90. We're using the Force, Luke.

Well the cowl is 76 or 77. Strange he is selling it without the controls, if they are proprietary to that engine

40 years old so buyer beware !----No controls perhaps means that they do not want you to ask for compression test.----Likewise in the fall they say " motor is winterized " hoping that a buyer will take it without a test run !!

I'll bear this one in mind for my next fall sale. Thanks!

If this motor is still original the trim pump mounts inside boat and the bottom 2 mounting bolts are hollow and trim line attach to them. Also the starter is had to find as it uses a fine tooth flywheel. Also its a pin shift like a inline motor....
